If you want to make it right to the top in the Linie Award competition, you have to start by sending in an application good enough to rank you among the 5 finalists to be announced on 15 September. Assessment of all the applications submitted will be done in association with the Culinary Institute of Norway and Nordic experts in the field of food and drink. Only 1 finalist from each of the Nordic countries will be selected.
The second ‘eye of the needle’ will be the finals in Oslo on 31 October. In stiff competition with four other contenders, in the space of a few hectic hours, you will be preparing your menu (two courses) and presenting it to a discerning and competent jury consisting of several of the Nordic Region’s culinary celebrities.
