Hammer Gin

Blended with pure water from Norwegian natural reserves of Hammer

Hammer is a London Dry Gin based on an English recipe dating from 1776, and refined with spring water from Hammer, Norway. The springs lie at Hadeland in the county of Oppland and water from this district undergoes a unique process of filtration utilising sedimentary rock minerals that were formed about 300 million years ago during the volcanic periods in the region. Hammer Gin is an exceptionally pure product, made from spices and herbs growing wild and produced from a 200-year-old craft tradition. A double pot still with a unique process of filtration extracts the purest taste from the herbs, giving the product a crisp and full taste.

Hammer Gin won a silver award in the 2005 International Wine and Spirit Competition in London, and came second in a comprehensive gin test in the Swedish Apèritif, beating prominent rivals such as Bombay Sapphire, Gordon's and Beefeater.  Hammer Gin received special mention as an excellent base in drinks such as Dry Martini and Gin and Tonic.
